An adaptation of Adiyaman Kindergarten and Day Nursery Project for 150 children and all of its variable versions have been formed and highlighted with colors in an attitude which underlines the production structures and factories in an environment that is full of them. Except for its colors, the structure, from the outside, can be conveniently called a factory, ‘joy factory’. Informal grid structure has been created in a bulky, monolithic and solid form so far as possible in accordance with the zoning permissions and the requirements of energy economy, and surface forming lumped mass designs were not preferred. The entrance which resembles a chimney has been exaggerated, first, to create a decisive effect on the view of children, and then to allow parents who mostly work in the organized industrial site to fancy about the location of the structure from where they will collect their kids at the end of their shift. Thus, they can easily recall the place where they left their kids… And other people can easily recognize it among the factories.
